Artist Bio

Ying Yang / 杨颖 is an artist, lecturer, researcher, and tattoo artist whose practice combines academic inquiry with a sensitive visual language across drawing, illustration, tattoo, and contemporary art.

Artist Statement

My practice often begins with observation: of bodies, plants, birds, marks on skin, and the ways images become part of memory and knowledge. I try to preserve the trace of the hand while creating quiet connections between tenderness and experimentation.
